Curtis Bright, CPA
Curtis Bright joined Walker & Armstrong in 2009
after gaining valuable accounting experience in private industry.
As our firm's audit manager, Curtis is responsible for
planning and performance of audit, review and accounting engagements; evaluation
of risk assessment; direct supervision of senior and associate accountants;
research accounting and reporting issues; providing guidance and assistance with
financial and single audit reporting; and scheduling fieldwork.
He has provided audit and accounting services to a variety
of not-for-profit entities, government agencies, and closely held companies. His
experience includes working with food banks, housing, advocacy and health care
organizations; professional trade associations; grant and charter schools;
counties, tribal governments, municipalities and governmental departments; and
employee retirement plans.
Curtis earned his accounting degree at Arizona State
University in 2008. His continuing professional education includes courses in
performing single audits and guidance on auditing governmental and nonprofit
organizations and various auditing matters. He has met the continuing
professional education requirements of Government Auditing Standards.
He is a member of the Arizona Society of Certified Public
Accountants (ASCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
